Cold
You have to hate it when you get a cold, can't shake it and your nose drips like a sieve. Using kleenex to blow your nose it purposeful. It keeps the drips from dripping, but it also chaps under the nose. No fun at all. I've been fighting this cold now for 2 1//2 weeks. I've had it.

Arrival
We made our destination, but not without some challenges. We experienced our first real winter white out on our approach to Winnipeg. There is a stretch of the trans canada highway, between protage and winnipeg that can be treacherous. Its here where the winds can whip across at 70-100kms, creating a total whiteout. We hit these conditions about 30kms west of winnipeg. Visibility was nil, road conditions icy, temperature conditions cold. The white out was patchy. We drove several kms with almost zero visibility, then we hit patches where you could see forever, only to go back into almost zero conditions. experiencing this several times is stressfull. Severl cars in the ditches, an accident involving three semi-trucks and four passenger vans. Nerve racking, but we made it through safely, arriving at our destination.
